Details: The 2011 G.M. Kosolapoff Award and Lecture will be presented by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Auburn section of the American Chemical Society on Thursday, April 14. The recipient is Eric Jacobsen of Harvard University who will present a talk entitled "Selective Catalysis" at 8:00 PM in the Science Center Auditorium. This will be preceded by a more technical lecture entitled "Hydrogen-Bond Donors in Asymmetric Catalysis," that will be given at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, in Room 134 of the Chemistry Building. |
